I neither went today nor went any other day to church. The reason for n't going to church is that i am a Muslim gal and we have Mosques. Mosques resemle church. Only men go to mosques and ladies stay at home and pray while sitting at home.

Yes, I went to church today, for I have given my life to the Lord and He has full control.

That is wonderful! I didn't go. I'm having a problem with my sleep. I have trouble going to sleep at night but once I do go to sleep, I can't wake up, no matter how many alarms I set. I slept right through church today -- didn't wake up until 3PM. Please pray for me that I will be start being able to wake up and attend services again!

I will pray and ask God to wake you up, He does this for me, I do not set an alarm, I ask him, Amen. Also, I will ask that you start sleeping correctly at night, that He give you peace of mind. Be Bless !

I don't, I used to growing up, I grew up baptist. I have since changed my way of thinking and as odd as it seems, it seems christians have their morals all wrong. I am not condeming them all, just the ones I know. I've never seen such hate and mistreatment from my new friends who claim to have no belief. What's with that?

Are you saying your friends who claim to have no belief hate and mistreat you or that christians mistreat them? If you are saying the christians hate and mistreat them, then I think they are not true Christians. True Christians have love in their hearts and should be setting an example of what a Christian is for those that are not.

I've never met a true christian then. What I was saying that christians seem to look down on athiests. Some have been known to say athiests have no morals, I have found this to be totally the opposite. I know nothing but christian people with the exceptions of a few and have found the opposite to appear true. Sure I know people with love in their hearts that bet their wives, cheat on them and abuse their children. Sorry, that's just who I know.

I beleve that as well. However, it helps me to grow spiritually when I do attend church. I've tried to convince myself otherwise, but for me, that's just not true. I'm not saying it's not the case for you, however, as everyone is different.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. LET US NOT GIVE UP MEETING TOGETHER, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us ENCOURAGE one another. Hebrews 10:24-25

Yes I went to church. I take my grandchildren too. I use to teach Sunday School but then I went to work and had to give it up. However most of my work schedule has now been worked around so I can go to church on Sunday's and also Wednesday nights I teach a childrens Bible Class. I have Wednesday's off work or work early enough that I can still go to church. and I don't think you should have titled this discussion anything different. I hope you are able to get back to church soon. I really miss when I can't go. We have talked about this in my adult SS class. Once you start missing it seeems to become easier to miss.

I'm so happy for you that you are keeping church and Sunday School and even Wednesday night services in your life. Oh how I wish I could get there again! I have such good intentions but I just can't seem to do it. I didn't make it there again this morning. Once you miss a lot, you actually feel funny about going back. I know that sounds odd, but I feel like people think I don't sincerely want to be there or something. I feel out of place and not a part of things like I used to. I know these people would welcome me back with open arms, so I don't really know WHY I feel this way, but I do. I really do want to go back and I'm really going to work on myself this week. Next Sunday I intend to be there and if I work on it and pray enough, I believe I will be.

Maybe you need to start right now, today, on going next Sunday. Say to yourself"I have to get this done so I can go to Church Sunday." I know sometimes I have a real hard time getting up and going - especially now that I don't teach Sunday School anymore. I have had Sunday's that I only went because of my grandchildren. You are right those people will welcome you back with open arms. Maybe you should think about that. I will try to keep encouraging you this week and maybe together we will make it there next Sunday. (I haven't even looked at my schedule to see if I work Sunday.) You can go to your church and think about me and I will go to my church and think about you!

I just remembered that I will be out of town next Sunday, but I'm going to be there the following Sunday for sure. That gives me almost two weeks to work on it.

No i did not go Sunday, I haven't been in 2 weeks I know I don't go as much as I should go but I get these bad migraine headaches and listening to the singing and the preaching and stuff doesn't help it makes them worse..I know i should have it prayed for like my mother and father keeps telling me to it's just that I do not like to call attention to myself at all...

I do understand the not wanting to call attention to yourself. Have you tried treating the migraines? I used to suffer horribly from them. I now take Topamax, which I take daily as a Migraine preventative. I've been taking it for a year now have only had 2 or 3 migraines in that time period. I used to have that many a lot of times in a weeks time!
