I also heard about that new reasearch saying that coffee's antioxidants is far more greater than the tea has. I usually drink once a week only as I am a complete opposite of the other poster here i don't get constipated but my bowel starts become irritated by drinking it. I love the coffe's especially the exotic ones but since they are costly i drink once in a while only.

i agree with that because coffee is medicinal,it's a plant same as herbal medicines. but we should also consider that coffee has different effects on human body. considering also the volume/amount of intake. we all know that "too much of something is bad enough" and "enough is enough", and also because our body has its limitations. just like milk, we know that milk is so nutritious, drinking 1 glass a day is fine but 1 gallon a day, you'll be spending your day in your restroom.

These days I have been drinking coffee to quit smoking. I put a cup of black coffe in a take-out glass and take a mouthful whenever I want to smoke. It makes me feel fresh and I smoke much less now. I don't know whether it is good for my health or not.

According to researches made it helps to mitigate some health problems because of the antioxidant present on it, well I would say simply drink moderately as in any other beverages we take. I hope it can help to minimize and subsequently quit your smoking habits.

Drinking coffee - Drinking coffee good for you
Coffee isn't good for you. But it's not bad for you, unless you consume too much. It contains caffeine, which in small doses makes you feel wide awake and alert, but in large doses can mess with your heartbeat. Coffee can also irritate the stomach lining, giving severe pain, and sometimes stomach ulcers. It also is a diuretic, which means it forces your body to pee more. The thing is that your stepdad is old enough to make decisions for himself. Just the same as you choose what to eat, or drink, for your body, he has the right to do the same thing. It's hard to watch someone, and you have the right to let him know you care, but you can't force him to make a change until he wants you to help him when he's ready. happy mylot day.

I really love drinking coffee i generally have around 2 cups of coffee per day it has got several benefits and i would like to tell u some of them 1.French researchers reported that caffeine has no affect on the area of the brain involved with addiction at doses of one to three cups of coffee per day 2.a cup of coffee can help in the performance of tasks requiring sustained attention, even during low alertness situations such as after lunch, at night or when a person has a cold. u can read more from the following link http://www.accessexcellence.org/WN/SUA12/cafe399.html

I don't know if it makes any difference to how long one lives... In italy they drink plenty of it, in hong kong I am not too sure they do, and they both live roughly just as long. Was going to post the link to the cia factbook but I am not allowed to paste...

Dear MysirAylon, I don't beleive that drinking coffee is good for the health. I do know that drinking too much is bad though! So like with anything, moderation is a key. As for being a good source of anti-oxydant... not sure! If you want a very good source of anti-oxydant, you need the consume the "Queen of Fruit": the Mangosteen fruit. This fruit contains xanthones. Xanthones is a cell that contains anti-oxydants. Xanthones are found throuhout nature in many different botanicals. What sets the mangosteen appart is the amount of xanthones it does contain. Most botanical that contains xanthones have one or two xanthones in them. The mangosteen does have over 43 known as of today. There are over 40 years of medical and scientific research that prove that this fruit is so efficient in curing ailments in the body that is why Asian native people are calling it the "Queen of Fruit". So... instead of drinking coffee to help you get rid of toxins in your body... you can drink mangosteen fruit juice. I have been a distributor of the original mangosteen fruit juice (XanGo) for close to 2 years now. It changed my life! If you want to read my story, just visit this page: http://www.monmangostan.com/Pages_an/health_exp.html I am sure you will understand the benefits of that juice! It's simply amazing. But to be honest with you... I still have my cup of fresh brew coffee every morning... after my glass of mangosteen juice! ;-)
