Do u agree - Football(Soccer) is the best individual GAME - justify ur statement

... Well ever since - I wonderered is - whats in this game that it brings so many ppl. 2gether and After Olympics - I believ' FOOTBALL(Soccer) is the most soughted out thing in the history of games and sports, together...Do u agree and if yes then please try EXPLAININ' a bit more... Awaitin'...

I do agree. In fact soccer is the most popular sport in the world. No matter what the Americans say about it, it is realy a global sport. It's world cup is really engaging the 6 continents unlike rugby and american football. I think what's special about football is that it began in europe. By that time, europe had the strongest influence throughout the world. America is somehow isolated from the outer world. That's why most american sports remained american. As for the other sports (like basketball and volleyball), soccer is by far more popular. Maybe because it's much easier to be played anywhere. In poor countries, pchildren play soccer even in the streets. This can't be the case for volleyball and basketball as they both need special equipment (the ring and the net). As for soccer, any wall can be marked as a goal.

hmm... good discussion in relation to basket-ball and volley-ball - what about cricket - do u feel, sicne America is also unknown to this sport - do you feel that it has not some years to come BUT does' that game has any stand against football(soccer) - I agree no but stil share more of your views as we can discuss this a bit more... thanx and CHEERS!!!

South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Kenya, and there are rookies like Canada and Netherlands - and even countries like China and a few more have started liking the game a bit and so the prep' has started for the same - so its still goin' and as in development process also - I know it can never match Soccer - craze but almost all countries have started likin' this Game and as far as World-cup is roound the corner in March or so and this time it will be in West-Indies and so if you wanna know abit of the game - you can do so... and let me know whether you can develop a likin' for it or not - whatever YOU need in the game's, any aspect of it, for that matter - DO let me knw, I have a pretty good knowledge of this game too... and waise I m complete Sports freak person - can discuss with facts and good views on any game's.... CHEERS!!!

i did nt agree football is the best some other games also there. but it is the best of them. in some countries like other games so it s demand is high thats all

no buddy, you din't get the catch out of bein' the best game - its dat "after Olympics" - football(soccer) has got the maximum fans following - andas far as you sayin', that in many countries...there are no other sports to choose from - i don't agree in most of the Asians and esp. South-East Asia countries - its not even 5% playable as compared to western sides BUT you wil stil have fans in thousands and lacks, infact DIE-HARD fans supportin' for one or the country in world-cup and one or other clubs' in LEAGUES...anewais dis is in response to what I could make out of your discussion(which I felt wasn't clear enough), IF ANYTHIN' else you meant or points you wanna discuss THEN please let me know - I wil b honoured to do wid you - discuss that is... It's the most popular sport in the world. Besides here in the U.S., every nation loves it. It can be played almost anywhere. the rules are universal. I am new to Football. I only really see it during the World Cup. it is great. I also like the Olympics, football matches can bring long time enemeies onto a neutral cite, the football field.I remember when England met Argentina in the World Cup. That was great. I hope sometime real soon Soccer Fever comes to America.

surely it will increase as BECKHEM has agreed to come and play for the club - as a result of which the club's fans got increased by 5000 within the 1st three days of the announcement of BECKHAM news - this was poved and said on the record sales of the club FOR the 1st time...CHEERS!!!
