So is it a fair estimate that it takes 500 posts to make 10.00 on mylot?

I read that somewhere earlier today. Is that true? I am new to the site and I just want to know.

I don't think that is true. Mylot pays you based on the quality of your post... I think it could take a good 3 or more weeks to make that much, without the help of referrals and spending about 6 or 7 hours on mylot.

I dont think this is true. It just depends on the quality of your responses and how many discussions you post from what I understand.

Whoever said that doesn't know what they're talking about. There is no specific ratio for number of posts to earnings. There are too many other factors you need to take into account: length of your post, your star ranking (which you don't get until you have 100 posts), how your responses and discussions are rated.... there are too many factors for a clean and easy algorithm like that.

no absolutely not queenmaximus. i reached my 10 dollar payout when i had more or less 250 posts. just yesterday with a posts of 663 i earned over 20 dollars. it really depends upon the quality of your discussions and responses. you try to upload photos too, these will help you earn a few more cents.

I do not think that this would be fair to say at all! Personally i have made over $40 and i have just over 1100 posts!! The amount of money that you earn here on mylot really depends on the quality of your posts themselves rather than the amount that you post!
