These discussions are not allowed by myLot and as such I usually do not answer them as most of the time they get deleted. But on the rare occaision that I do answer them I answer them with a good quality answer rather than just a yes or no! Yes I do understand that this discussion of your's really has no answer to it but I wanted you to get credit for it as it is something important that you felt like you had to say! So here is a reply and a plus for your statement!! Thank you for the statement and have a great day!!

I personally do not like yes, no discussions. I like getting into a little more detail about the particular topic.

I don't like posting yes/no responses only, without anything else. I tell my opinion (yes or no) but them I try to explain why I agree or not with what's being discussed.

I also dont like yes no discussions, even if I reply under such topics, I defend and argue my "yes" or "no" thats the only thing we can do with such topics or discussions

When I first joined mylot there was alot of yes and no discussions. I am glad there aren't alot of them anymore. Mylot does understand that english is not your first language, that you might have some touble with things. I think you have been doing much better with the language. Keep up the good work.

I think the yes and no answers such because you can't give any insight to a topic that only ask yes or no and also it seems like a lazy question to ask as well but your probably right, there's a ton of you guys out there that like it but I don't think MYLOT should have to except it. Thanks its just my opinion.

Translated: "I think the yes and no answers SUCK because you can't give any insight INto a topic that only asks yes or no and also it seems like a lazy question to ask (NOT WORTHY), but you are probally right, there ARE a ton of guys out there that like THE YES/NO DISCUSSIONS but I don't think MYLOT should have to accept THOSE DISCUSSIONS. Thanks, THIS IS just my opinion." A little easier to understand now?!? I was a teacher's aid for many years!! :-) Have a great day!!

its not necessary to put LONG discussions here, cos NONE would like to read such long talks. yes or no is not discussions, just a waste of time. try to be descriptive, and helpful in a community.

use your senses and give a reason for saying yes or no, its entirely up to you if you agree or disagree, but a reasoned argument adds to the discussion.

Well actually it is not the discussion you are talking about here but the response, but maybe before you did send a discussion about yes/no I do not know as mylot would of deleted your discussion, I know it must be hard for you sometimes to think of something to write about but remember you do have friends here to help you.

they are just plain stupid, yes/no questions are not a discussion and you can't built a discussion even if you tried. I never make a yes/no discussion.

At one time there were a lot of those inane discussions which just asked for a "yes or no" response or alternatively asked "do you like pepsi or coke?" and thankfully myLot deleted them all, or certainly the majority of them. They were a complete waste of space of effort and were not a discussion at all, which is what this forum is, i.e. a discussion forum. What it meant was that anyone who was spamming mostly with these inane discussions was warned and in some cases banned as they had been warned in the past. That meant of course that anyone who had responded to these people's discussions lost rating, even if they had given good quality responses. At the same time that myLot deleted these "discussions" and/or banned/warned some members, they changed the method by which they pay people and that got rid of a lot of those types of questions. Sadly I am now seeing that they are making a return, so I hope that myLot will delete them too. Thanks for the warning you have given and I do hope that everyone takes note of it. :)

Yep, you are so right. Those questions are against the rules, but I do know some people that still do that sometimes.

Plus posting a question that only requires a yes and or a no is not a discussion. A discussion consist of more than one word. I get so annoyed with discussions like that. So when they tell me to post just a yes or a no I ramble on and hope I annoy them. lol okay I vented thanks

i can relate to that. it feels awfully bad to receive answers in YES or NO. i can never do that and donot want others to do it with me. pls donot attempt any discussion when you donot have any input to add to it, there are so many discussions, i am sure u gonna lke many others from those. i would request all to make this place a good qualitative one, instead of just typing in YES or NO. thank you

It is true very hard to have a discussion ,if the answer to the discussion is yes or no its all said no reason for people to respond because they dont want us to repeat anothers answer makes sence to me
