Sorry for copy same response. But since it similar, this is my opinion.
I think that will be unfair
Many people upload illegal contain. Maybe youtube wrote DO NOT POST ILLEGAL CONTENT. but fact? Many people upload FULL eps of some series (The mostly that I download is anime).
I never watch at youtube. Everytime I want to watch somehing, I must DL it first. my connection is too weak for streaming.
I upload some video at my sister youtube account at http://youtube.com/user/shireishou
But I never get money. I'm pass from youtube if they do that. It will be make people upload illegal content more to get money.
I also upload some illegal content due to some request. BUt not all eps. Only capturing or I cut most sceene.
I like to upload my own video creation lately. But its hard for me to upload somethin there. T_____T
I dont interesting to earn money from youtube. I only upload video if I made new video or ppl request me to upload some video that not avaliable in their country and I have it

I hope they watch video that deserve to get paid. Or.. maybe we can wait to upload our tsubasa tribute after they REALLY pay us. weheheheh ^^
btw, I'm hassei's older sister ^^ Thats youtube is my account. BUt we usually make AMV together. ^^

That is true that many people have illegal videos on there. Which is why I think in order to share revenue, they have to screen all of their videos. They have tons and tons so I hope this works out.

I think one of the reasons they are doing it is to get better movie content. I know if they are to pay members for the movies, they will have to screen through and get ride of all the copyrighted material.. Such as all the movies and tv shows that are posted up.

I don't really like the idea. Credibility of youtube will go down a bit. Okay maybe i'm wrong but i can't help feeling that way.

With the article I read, they didn't have any details on how the paying will be.
I read this will all start in about 3 months.

I would love to explain the news in more detail, however, there hasn't been any detail on what is happening. Just the great news of we will be getting paid for our videos now!

Well i Used To have an Account There which is Unactive now but i still Login and Listen to soem Videos That i Want to but if They are Planning to Share Revenues It Will soon Explode The Numbers Of Their Members.I Had Joined The Site For Only Sharing My adn Others Uploaded Videos.
