Hi,
Every country has many cultures.
India is an ancient civilisation of the world and faced so many invaders in 2000 years.They came ,won and setteld here with their on cultures.
Every ruler spred his own traditions and cultures here.
that is the main reason.

Due to our Democratic system and heavy population strength we have been cultivated long back with many cultures. These are very different, developed as time proceeds from Independence onwards.

The main reason for different cultures in India is that India was ruled by many different Kings of different religion and before leaving they left there culture in India.Thus since ages people of many different religions are staying in India and maintaining their culture.
