How good are u in maths.

oops!!Myself never good at it..The only subject which is disliked and found very hard is the very subject "MATHS"..oh god i know how much i struggled to get pass marks in that subject..I can never get my sleep when i think about any math exams or something related to maths..hehe!!;)am getting jealous of u ,tat ur good at it:)

Well I think I am quite good at Mathematics. I am 47 now. I fared 83% in my XII th standard in the year 1977. Our batch was was the first batch to appear for XII th Board. We hardly had suffieient text books, we hardly knew the exact syllabus, there were no guides or model papers like today we have. And taking private tuitions was a taboo then . The students who were weak only would go for private tuitions.Inspite of all these constraints I scored 83% in my XII Board. I feel very happy even today when I recall about my scoring. We used to practice a lot of Mathematics and we never used to refer any readymade solutions to get the answers. Today I am a Vet working for a Stud Farm . Must be surprised to know about my profession . NO? Well I was interested in Mathematics and good at it but basically I wanted to become a Human Doctor . But short of 'one mark' deprived me the admission to Medical College and then I opted for Veterinary Science! Though I am in Veterinary Profession, I still know that I am good at Mathematics and I helped my son till the his XII standard. I really don't care what others say say about my Mathematics or for that matter about any qualities of mine, for I know that I am really good at my field in which I claim expertise. Well initially when I was in school I couldn't follow mathematics as was hardly interested in studies and all the while I was indulging myself in mischiefs at the school. I was enjoying my school life and I was notorious student for many of my teachers then. I used to find maths tough because I was not knowing the basics of the subject. Having grown up a bit, I thought to study seriously and in that attempt I tried to learn mathematics with the help of one of my good friend, to understand that entire mathematics revolves around only the four basic principles of addition, sutraction, multiplication or division.Having understood this I never had any difficulty there after. The basic operations mentioned above are used in all the applivcations may it be statisstics, trignometry or calculus! Still I love Mathematics and I love people who are interested in it ! I think mathematics is a must for an educated man!
