Trying to decide between video cards

I'm trying to decide what I should get to replace my existing video card.
I'm looking at the GeForce 7900 series or the Radeon x1600 series.
Can anyone give me some advice?

i suggest you to wait the new standard of videocard, cause they can support the new dirctx 10, directx 10 are maded for Vista, and incoming videogames,
if you don't think to use Vista or videogame at the top of their possibility,
i suggest the X1600, i have an X1800XL and i find a great Video card ;)

Try to search on the internet for a site that gives you the results of the 3DMARK on the both video cards. But i think that the GeForce 7900 is better than Radeon X1600. Or ask a local dealer or in a computer shop.
