Stargate SG-1 coming to an end.

Recently, I visited the Stargate SG-1 website and was surprised to read that after 10 wonderful seasons, the show may be coming to an end. I just wanted to cry. I love this show. I enjoy the way they mix old historical information with science fiction to solve a problem. How does this information affect you? Will you cry? Are you okay with the show ending? Have you purchased any of the shows CD's? I have Seasons 1 through 4 on CD and I would like to collect the rest soon. I would love to hear from you on this issue.

I really enjoy the show, but the way the seasons run make it difficult to stay interested, if I have to wait 6 months for the next episode I start to wonder if the whole season is worth my time, and I imagine that has greatly reduced the viewing numbers over the last few years. But, then again, I am still waiting for the season to restart, and will probably start watching tv again when it does. Other than waiting a year or so between Harry Potter books, and 6 months for a few weeks of Stargate, I haven't had much interest in what the "entertainment" industry has been offering lately.

Stargate SG-1 used to be my favorite show. I must admit after Jack left the show it kind of lost it's appeal for me. While he was not my favorite character (that would be Daniel Jackson) I did miss a lot of his humor. They also ousted General Hammond around the same time and I am not one for change. I used to love Friday night TV because of Stargate, but after Jack left, to me it just has not been the same.
I like Alantis though. It is a fun show to watch.

WE love SG-1 but once they started the Merlin thing it lost alot of its appeal. We have already started saving to get the dvd's so that we can reminisce on a regular basis. Thing is, I haen't heard if the Atlantis spin off is goin away also. I don't like it as much but at least it would be a link to the original show and the possibility of guest spots would be a nice draw.

Do you have any idea what the story lines will be for these 2 movies? details, i need details. hehehe It would be nice if you could foretell the future about these movies.

HOW do you know this information? aaaahhhh!!! Ok, since you seem to know inside information my next question is: Exactly what day(s) are these two movies coming out and how much are they going to cost?
