Why Hillary?

Ok, so I know a lot of people are excited that Hillary is in the race. Aside from the fact that she is a woman and aside from the fact you don't like the current President, why Hillary? I would like an issues based discussion so no "because she's smart" type answers please. Taxes, Immigration, health care, Iraq, Social Security, and all that goes with that.

I am not the strongest in politics, nor am I a US citizen as I have earlier mentioned, but I do beleive maybe because she is probably the wife of a president and wants to try something that she thinks she knows a little bit about. I mean her husband has been involved in politics in many years and so has she, so why not?

That is true, but everyone has a shot of running for president I do beleive. Most likely she wont be getting elected but it is in her spirit to try. If she gets elected that would be something though, wouldn't it?

The one reason why I think Hillary should become President is her strong opinion on National Health Care coverage. I realize that this is something that President Clinton also talked about, but never enacted, but the nation is in need of some type of health care assistance. I do have health insurance through my employer, but the co-pays and out of pocket expenses are rising more and more every year and practically sending me to the poor house. Thank goodness I had extensive spinal surgery 3 years ago when my out of pocket expenses were less! Anyway, I do understand that this won't be enough to get Hillary elected, but I do know it is one of her major issues she focuses on. Good Post! Thank you!! :-)
