If you could do or be anything, what would it be? Forget about the job you have now if it isn't your dream career. Remember when you were a child and you could be anything? I want to own a publishing business and sell books (when I grow up ;)What do you want to do?

If time goes back to my childhood, I still have the same dream carrier. There are several carriers that I like very much. I like to be scientist, artist and astrououts. Although all the dreams didn't really comes true, but if got chance, I will still consider to switch path and pursue it. Since I like science and maths very much during schoold time, and naturally, now I ended up being an engineer LoL.

Thanks for your response. I guess it's never really too late, huh? I think many of us just give up too easily.

I have always wanted to be an artist, since I was 2 years old. It is my passion. So, 5 years ago, I went for it. I started working at Disney World as their silhouette artist. Then I went out on my own. I love my work. Check out my website: www.mgcreativearts.com Look at my store: http://www.cafepress.com/margieanneart Look at the gallery: http://helloscottsdale.com/Art/Gallery.Cfm?AUID=2407 And watch me do a cutting on video: http://mgcreativearts.com/Finall.wmv Each one took time to reach, but, I did, as I wanted it so much. If you want a publishing business, go for it. Never get old enough to look back, and say, "I should have." We only have one life, and only Today, for sure. Good luck dear.

Mine would be to be a professional football (soccer) player and then go into coaching, then management before then having the money to buy my local team and try and fund their rise up through the divisions. Failing that making my own business that I dont even have to bother working on, employing others to do it for me from about the age of 25.

I got a deal for you..I'll write the books that you publish and sell and we'll get filthy rich!!! Seriously though, I want to be a paid writer. I want to be paid enough so that I don't need to have any other job, unless I wanted to of course. I'd like to be able to go to the places in my novels for research. I'd want houses in different parts of the world so that no matter where I went I was home. I wouldn't keep all the money to myself either, I would donate a lot of it too. I love to help out non-profits. There's so many of them too. It would be hard to pick which ones.

Have you looked into freelancing as a writer? It might not be the kind of writing you'd really prefer to do, but it's a start and it's money. There's a good site called Freelance Work Exchange that might get you going. Best of luck to you.

I think I'd want to be a beta-tester for a console gaming company. =) That'll be cool. I am playing the latest games AND I get paid for it. =)
