If you regretted it the next day and you feel you were angry over something petty than that means you feel that you were wrong in the way that you acted, It doesnt make a person look stupid to apologize, to me if a person can stand up and admit they were wrong it shows alot of strength and character, not stupidity.

No, I don't think I've ever experienced this. Because if I do or say something stupid, I always apologize. An apology will go a long way.

I am sure that most people have gone through this at one point or another. Sometimes certain things make me overreact. My boyfriend would probably agree, but certain topics can make me fly off the handle. It is like they say.... "push my buttons" Otherwise I maintain a neutral mood and not subject to ups and downs.

well i think thats a common situation with almost everyone....n if u really think that u were wrong then there should be no regrets accepting it n then apologising for it....

Being humans we overreact many a times. But the great thing is to realise that you have overrreacted and make ammends for that. The only way is to apologise by saying sorry.words are things you cannot take back once it is said. So inthe first place it is better to know what you are telling. BUt the next best thing is obviously apologising for the wrong. It is always a great thing to say SORRY for the mistake commited.

I have and it is best to suck it up and apologize. The longer you go without, the harder and more awkward it is going to be.

Haven't we all? I say apologize..you may feel stupid, but you won't look stupid. In fact it will raise your self respect and the person to whom your apologizing to respect for you. It's a win win.

Many times. Actually, I think everyone has at one time or another if they really think about it. Then it is time maybe to Apologize to the person who you might have offended, and try to move on. What I hate most, when it is someone who acts like they did nothing wrong, and never want to apologize to you, or snubs you when you try to apologize to them. I wonder how they can live like that all of their lives.
