Spending lot of money on marriage

Should we spend lot of money on marriage..we can do a simple marriage and give the money to an orphanage to help the children for their future...But this marriage occurs once in lifetime u also want to make it large..so what do u want ur marriage should be a big fancy one or simple one and helping other people?

Spend the money it is one day out of your life that you want to look back on as being a perfect and wonderful day. It is a time in which you give yourselves to one another and promise to spend forever together. It is an important day and if you have the money you should have the best....Best wishes..

but dont u think its a big waste of money..if u give this money to an orphanage or some other noble work then this money ll b very useful for them and i m sure u gonna remember this day forever..because u r helping some other person

I understand what your saying and although it is noble I feel your fiance would appreciate a beautiful wedding. At another time when you have extra money make your donations.

Marraige is a one time affaire but one should not even go overboard in spending. You can have a simple and inexpensive wedding too. Money you spend on wedding can be used to start a new life with your partner too, but sometimes its necessary to invite youer friends and relatives over for socialising sake, its up to you how you want it. I had not invited many people to my wedding but people had landed up anyway, even uninvited because of love they had for my mom and my father, so we ended up having a wedding with lots of people and spent very little on decorations and even number of food items. That way we didn't do it out of budget and still had every one at the wedding.

I think there is no need to spend lots of money on marriage. Everyone expect a big fancy wedding, but in another hand it is a big waste.
If you have enogh money on life and dont know how to spend it, i suggest you can make a donation to ppl who need it.
