Lord of the Rings trilogy is the best movie I have ever watched. It not only shows excellent graphical scenes, effects, pictures, it also shows an excellent story that is written by one of the world's best author J. R. R. Tolkien. I believe that many people like myself love everything about it. From the races of humanity, wizards, dwarfs, elfs, orcs, undead, hobits, treants, globin and centres on the Ring of power made by dark lord sauron, it shows the completeness of a fantasy story that we often play in games like Heroes of Might and Magic, Magic the gathering, and many other fantasy games. This movie showed also the hearts of human's desire upon eternal life, friendships, love, trust, belief, hope, will, determination, good triumph over evil, and the ultimate strength of every single being. Every race has its own characteristics, every characteristics resembles every part of the human being. How wonderfully it portayed the segment of every single aspect of a human today. What do you think?

Wat can i say about that movie as i watched it more that 20 times and like to watch it again and again. even the games(lord of the rings battle for the middle earth 1 & 2 & the witch king & shadows of angmar) are also launched on this and they created a new trend among the strategy games. now i am waiting to see this trilogy on HD

wow, never expect a true LOTR movie and game freak in this discussion board. ive got a question, do you get new relizations or new inspirations every single time you watch the movie, again and again? this is because i only watched like once and i am heavily impacted by the movie already. i was always desperately waiting for the next sequel movie whenever the movie came to an end, with the to be continue sign really pissed me off at times.

i liked the matrix trilogy more than lord of the rings trilogy. the special effects were so nicely crafted that no one can escape the fanatasy shown in it. the story was blended so nicely that it didn't seemed like illusion and all the things seemed like reality just like spiderman series. i love them . i also adore the lord of the rings trilogy and i can say that they r really awesome. they r one of a kind and the things that they have shown in such a nice way can't be shown again. the scenes are so magnificient that no one can criticise it. they r blended in perfectness.

Matrix surly made a huge impact in the movie industry. I must admit that the effects are superb. Matrix is another movie that displays human's connection between a reality, and a fasle reality. It is where we are living in, and the other side of the, the spirituality that engages in all possible forms of thoughts and unlimited possiblities. I must agree with you that matrix is another dimension of showing humans' desire. Thank you for sharing your comments. Really appreciate them. Sometimes, it is the gasping of the real meaning behind a movie rather than just the effects and story-line. Know its true meaning. It goes deeper into human dynamics.

For me the great movie till now was "THE DAY AFTER TOMMORROW" whag a classic study that was and what the computer works that movie incorporated...simply unbelievable!! Yeah the lord of the rings was good, but the more good movie of that category was the GLADIATOR OR TROY ....both were classic!

Gladiator and Troy are similar in that the settin is ment to be old medievil times. But I think that they are based on actual things, at least real things that could have happened, or folklore type of thing. But Lord of the Rings is pure fantacy. WHile I love both Troy and Gladiator, Lord of the rings is better in my opinion, and really can't be compared to as the same category. Eragon would be the same, as would The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrob.

Gladiator and Troy are no doubt classics and they seem to be factual occurance in the early European times. Speaking off effects, The day after tommorrow is of course one of the best we have ever seen. But in terms of stroy and inspirations, The day after tommorrow speaks more of taking caution of mother nature striking back. For ages, we have been polluting, removing and plouging mother nature's resources without the consideration of conservation. This has made us more aware of the ending of the world, the depletion of all resources. Well, say the movie producers wanted us to take note of mother nature wrath and never take it for granted. yeps. Similarly, LOTR also showed some scenes of mother nature's wrath, that is to bring the trees, we cut down to life. They are known as the treants and the orcs, aka as condemned human removed the trees and created great destruction resulting in the wrath of the treants in destroying and taking revenge. oops sorry, went abit off track over here. well, lets just wait for the next sequel of these shows to be out. i am sure every single one of us here are waiting impatiently for the movies to be out. cheers directors and hollywood. ;{

Lord of the Rings trilogy is the best movie i've ever watched. The story is amazing and well-written. JRR Tolkien is a genius. And Peter Jacksons is superb director. I love the texture of the movie, it is like a painting. It will be the standard movie for all the up and coming adventure movie. A true trailblazer.
