I Wish I Was Raised During The Hippie Days!

I have always wished i was raised during the hippie days. I would of loved hanging out at woodstock and being "one with the earth". I like the hippie fashion style, I love the way they wore their hair. I like the music from back then. I have even been told i would make a great hippie. What about you? Was there ever a diffrent time you would of liked to grow up in? Maybe the old pioneer days or maybe you would of been a Elvis fan growing up with him..

well i was born in 1961 so i guess i was a child of the hippy age. However I was born to Edwardian parents, who had no truck with such things as flower power and didnt want to ban the bomb. Also i was born in the industrial North of England where dropping out wasnt really an option. No the punk era was my rebelious phase, i think you had to have been born in the 1950s to truely be a flower child

LOL! Well, you make me feel old, because I was a teenager in the 70's, and I was a real hippy, with hair down to my waist, and barefeet, and flowers in my hair. In fact even now that I am in my 40's, people still call me an "ageing hippy", because I still love the music, and I like to wear ethnic jewellery, and big ear-rings, and stuff. I would wilingly swop my experiences for your youth though:-))
