we try and keep it at 64 degrees at daytime, and at nite, down to 60. its so cold here right now that i don't even want to get out of bed, but the price of heating our home is outrageous! i can't wait for spring to arrive...

I will go without food before I go without heat. I keep my heat around 70-72. Today it was 25 degrees out, so the heat was running most of the time. It is expensive-I have a large old house, and it's about 450/month in the winter, but I can not stand the cold. I keep telling hubby how much money we would save if we moved south.lol

yes it was about 20 degrees here today, but i would rather starve myself than give my money to the gas company. they make enough profits off of us all year long. it makes me crabby to think that 5 years ago it was only 1/4 of what they charge us now. crazy.
