Mylot is kind Enough to Accept all of us here. So please Don’t Discriminate

I made this post because of the so many discussions on discrimination that I have read lately here in mylot. Mylot is supposed to be a fun place, where there is healthy exchange of ideas by different minds. And I mean healthy, no attacks below the belt and no throwing of dirt against each other. We all have our differences here in mylot. But mylot is kind enough to accommodate all of the 63,000+ diverse mylot users regardless of our race, skin color, geographical location and the language we speak.
There is a possibility that some users would make discussions on discrimination to generate as much reaction especially from the offended group but does this make you happy knowing all you get is hateful responses?

I have also noticed this in some of the posts that i have read so far. I am still a newbie here but i have enjoyed reading most of the posts. i too wish that prejudice does not get in the way of making healthy discussions and good friends online. however, there are instances when the writer lets his personal bias show.
For me i don't care where you come from, what color skin you have, what religion, etc. MyLot is trying to find a way to make us one, let's keep it that way please.

thanks lvap. yes there are so many biases, discrimination going on. i am against discrimination. i see that happening all over the world. in fact most serious conflict rooted from discrimination and prejudices. the world is so divided now. i hope this does not happen in mylot. thanks for your views lvap. and welcome to mylot.

excuse me vinod_sailes, but WHAT POST were you talking about? am sorry to tell you this but i have not read your discussion. So please no more novel-like responses accusing me of something. Don’t talk of guilt cause am not guilty of anything you are saying. You are just being too defensive when infact I don’t even know you nor read any of your posts. Did I respond to any of your post?? I cant remember either. aside from other discriminatory discussions i read, EXCLUDING YOURS, what prompted me to write this post is due to the response i get from one of my discussions: (/w/discussions/680605.aspx) you can check on this and you will know what am talking about.
you are just wasting your time making this suuuuuuper loooong response when i have no knowledge of what you are talking about.I hope that clears everything.

I haven't seen very much negative kharma stuff on here. I'm sorry that you have obviously seen enough to get you upset enough to feel the need to post this. I promise not all mylot people suck!

i know a lot of discussions on discrimination and you are right. your title hit it right on the head. of course we all have are differences but that's what makes us unique and interesting. mylot doesn't see us for our race or language or location at all. of course people post topics on discrimination to get people angry. i posted one on discrimination but it was about getting along with each other like this one. i got very few hateful responses on my discussion but it wasnt mean or anything like that. i wasnt putting anyone down. i was trying to make people realize we are all the same and we all bleed the same color so lets just all get along and be nice to each other.

Well I just joined mylot not to long ago and yeah you're right, I have noticed there are some ignorant people trying to start fuss over they're racial views and misjudgements. I just simply ignore it though. I honestly get tired of them trying to prove others wrong about a tradition or culture. Not until they benefit from the opponent will they ever change!

i think they don't benefit at all from their racial views and sarcastic misjudgments. anyway, you're right, just ignoring them will do. they just want some attention so ignoring them will be better.

I couldn't agree more,I don't understand why some people spew forth only hatred in all their discussions! Let them go vent it elsewhere..not Mylot. This is an international forum and when myLot doesn't discriminate then nobody else has the right to. It's unfair when other religions are accused and talked about. Come on people, live and let live!

I agree with you cuddleme01, this is a place to share information and respect others opinions but never with offensive or discriminating words, there are to much hate in this world to come here and spread more. Love each other, good discussion cuddleme01.

I totally agree with this discussion. Let's agree amonst ourselves to do the right thing. No kind of posts that incites hatred, quarrels, wrong arguments, etc. Instead, bring topics where we can all learn from each other in healthy manner.
I want to stay in this forum for a long time and I want mylot to be the best forum around the cyberspace. May we be always proud to introduce mylot to our friends because it is a professional site.

So far i haven't seen my posts which are bad. I guess there's about 4 that have been "major" one in which i feel the user should be banned. (they made a topic about america and canada being full of rasists + plus a bunch of treats etc)
Your right, this place is mean't for fun and not for people to come and ruin. i hope this place continues to shine and i've very much enjoyed reading your posts.

Hi! I completely agree. I also think people should think twice before choosing a username. Some people incite hate just by the username they choose. :-)

I appreciate your post, it is excellent. I have rated you a + for it. You are right. However, there does seem that people do it for reactions. I stay clear of those. I like to enjoy my friends and nice good disucussions.

I agree we need to realize that everyone is different, that we don't all share the same view points and that we can disagree on things without discriminating and without bigotry. I've seen it happen in here and I try not to do things that could be considered hateful, I'm not prefect I admit that but I do try not to be hateful. I don't like to hate in general. I may not like something but to hate it is a very strong emotion and one I really don't need.

You are right. They must have been very thankful to mylot in one way or the other. They must not expect money. They must have fun doing it,just like work,love your work so that you will be happy.If you dont love your work,you could not be happy so better quit from it. People are thinking how to earn easy money. Easy money doesnt makes a person happy. Easy money doesnt stay longer,it can easily be vanished. Its better to earn from hard work so that we can learn how to value our effort and the hard earned money.
