What do you expect when you get married?

Do you have any expectations when you get married? Do you expect to have a baby soon? Do you expect your wife to cook, clean and take care of the kids? Do you expect your husband to do all the work and just give you the money for you to budget? Would you allow your your wife to work fulltime even if you already have kids?
Marriage is a different chapter of a person's life. Some people can handle it very well while others cannot. Some people most likely miss their single lives. Getting married is a big step that a person should think about hundred times.

I expect happiness. My fiance and I want a baby very soon after getting married. We want to be young parents. We have spent so much time apart, because of his military career, we are looking foward to settling down.

i don't have any expectations when i got married. it was actualll all about love and being loved. im a stay at home mom. my luck my husband is a good provider. there is no assurance in this world. you wouldn't know your other half until you come up to live with him/her under the same roof. evryday is a new experience and you both learn to adjust and rediscover oneself.

Thanks for sharing! I know that we should not expect anything to avoid getting hurt if it didn't end up the way we wanted it. I agree that there is no assurance in this world that's why as much as possible I believed that we should live our life to the fullest. Be happy and content...Thanks again!

well this is the thing it always go wrong,people they first plan then they find the person to married,how can i say what i'd like before i know who am i getting married,how many kids i'm going to have,i thnk we have to seat and talk about these isues,then decide what we do,well that my opinion,maybe i'm not man enough yet
