How do I get a Star? I am new here

I am new to MyLot, and i seem to be a little slow at how all this works. I have been really enjoying myself on this site. It is a lot of fun to read everybodys discussions, lots of interesting things talked about in here.
I see other people have stars and it has something to do with ratings, but I dont know how I get a star. And also, I think I am a little rusty, because no one has responded to any of my discussions yet. But anyways, I dont mind because I know things will get better for me as i figure things out.
I appreciate all the tips you guys can give me.
I am planning to send some refferals out too, but I would like to know a little bit more about what I am doing first.

You have one already it`s just invisable at the moment ...
buy after 100 posts you will recieve yours but don`t forget to rate your replies as that counts also .
I have enjoyed mylot alot it can be a fun place to hide from the real world for a few hours or a day even as time seems to pass so quickly when you are having fun

Keep on posting until yu will reach the onhunred rating point and after that the star rating will appear above your user name. Those star rating will depend on how other members see you or thier impression about you. greetings. : )

im not new here and i still dont know how you get a star but im not worried because i have one

After you have made 100 posts a star will apear next to your username. The number is a rating based on how other mylotians have rated your previous posts. The number will be higher when you have posted higher quality posts that the readers thought was use ful.

To get a start, just keep on posting interesting discussions!...The other members wil rate you, then the mylot organizers gives you the star that you deserves!...i know its simple but hard to get the attentions of the other members to give you a good rate!...It is hard to please everybody!...

Hi,
I was told that you get a star once your number next to your name hits 100. Try to set yourself a quota of responses per day and you'll get there quickly. Good luck.
