Remebering When

I tell my kids all the time that they would of loved it when I was growing up because things didnt cost as much, a bottle of pop was only a quarter, and the little boxes of baked beans,red hots and lemon drops were only a dime. We saved coke bottles and turned them in to get money to have these thing. Do you remeber when? What were some of the prices you grew up with?

Yes i remember that it was 35 years a go apx. only thing is that stuff would still be the same if incomes' didnt go up and the companies didnt raise there prices so that they could pay higher wages. ohh but to remember when no cable no video games life was a whole lot simpler.

I always did what I could to get a quarter, because the corner grocery store would sell you six nickel candy bars for a quarter!!! Wow. I always enjoyed Neccho wafers.
