well, i have received it many times... all they ask is money in return that you need to send them the transfer money in their account fpr them to send the money in your account. my advise is, never give your account number or so and any infos about your acounts.

Yes, all the time.. I even got a check through the mail once.. They said cash the check and western union them $300 out of it and the rest was mine.. I wonder how many people actually deposit that check and send them the money... Then you are out $300 because that check is going to be no good... How do they get away with this?

I myself received one of those checks. I was very skeptical because I knew I didn't sign up for a lottery. I took the letter and the check to the bank to see what they would say. THe check was real, but the amount was not correct for the check number, how the bank knew that I will never know. I am just glad I didn't get into any trouble as the check would have caused me to have to pay it back along with a returned check fee of $32.

yup. received quite some emails telling me i'm a lucky winner. one time i replyed to one of them. it didn;t said in the email i need to reveal personal data, so i was curious. it took me 3-4 replies with that person, until i found out i am supposed to pay in order to get paid. never answered any email like that again. although i really admit it would be fun to have some millions fall off the sky right on top of u. lol

I get that one a lot, usually for two different lotteries. One is a yahoo lottery and is for $500, and the other is some European lottery wher I apparently won miilions. It's amazing to me that people fall for this stuff....how can you have won a lottery you never entered?

More than 100 mails I received and did not care of it as it is all scam. I got mail that the sender has 100 millions worth hidden wealth and need a foreign partner to release it etc. etc. I replied them with very utter language and thus it reduced. All are nigerian fraud and scam just try to know my bank account or credit cared account to suck money by fraud. Never believe it.

Yes I keep recieving it from Lotto and then UK lottery and now its from yahoo. I reported the yahoo one and I got the reply that its a scam. But I don't think they have done anything aboput it as two weeks later it was agin in my inbox with same id and same matter. Beware guys they ask you for your password for e-gold in that so never fall for it even if its from Yahoo.

Oh yeah, I often receive them. And not only lottery mails but also bussiness proposals. It's ridiculous, because I never into lottery or bussiness, that's why I only ignore them lol.

I receive this email many times a month, and delete it many times a month. Never will I give any information like that out over the internet. I don't feel safe doing so, and besides it is a scam since I never signed up for it.

Lolzzzzzz. Yeah, i often receive such e-mails and it again came yesterday too. Let me share an interesting story with u about it: I was a new user of net 2 years ago and got such e-mail. I sent them my home address etc. but they're saying that we'll send u money only if u'll send us fixed amount of money. I gave their number to my uncle living in uk and sent them an e-mail that my uncle'll come with money and will tkae the remaining amount of money from u. They after a day sent me reply that they've changed their office and my uncle too told me that there was neither any office at their given address nor the number is vaild. Then i came sure that its fraud and i after it, whenever i receive such e-mail i just smile and delete it without reading it.

My husband once enrolled in that site not knowing it was a lottery scam and he is very convince about it thank's heaven he told it to me before doing anything, then I research on the net about it and find it out that it was a scam a big scam. This teach me and my husband lesson that whatever we made out of online raffle we research first about it's reputation, before we became hooked with it an become a helpless victim
