Is it necessary for two people to get married just because they made a wrong move? Or the girl became pregnant? What would be the right choice?

People should get married for the right reason. Marrying someone only because you got them pregnant is not a good reason, because are you really prepared to commit to that person? What I think you should do though if you get a girl pregnant is to make sure you support the girl and your child. Most guys cop out and it's so unfair for the girl and especially your child.

no i don't think that you should get married just becuase you become pregnant. i think that is way to wrong of a reason to marry. now i do think that the man should own up and help take care of the baby and the mom to be atleast the baby if they are not staying to gether. withch happens to many times now days where the women tells the boyfriend i am having a baby and he turn tail and runns from the problem leaving her all alone to take care of there mess up.

Firstly, I am not religious. Many people in relationships these days, both want a child and may decide that now is the right time to try for a baby and to get married later, if at all. I would never get married just because I was pregnant and it wouldnt worry me about what my family thought of the situation either. I had all 3 of my children out of wedlock. My kids are under 12 and if in years to come they came home and said that their partner/fiance was pregnant, I wouldnt tell them to get married just because its the right thing to do. That would be their choice. In this day and age, many couples dont end up getting married and just live defacto for many years. I think though, if some people are a particular religion, they feel they have to honour what the religion says is the right thing to do.
