Purpose in life, live as day passes or living for others?

What is your purpose in life? How do you find and define it?
Do you life as the a day pases, living for the sake of others, or living for your dreams?
For me, i feel that i am living for others. Especially for those whom i love. My friends and family. I am living for them and i am living my best for them. Not wanting to become a liablity for them, i do my best in believing in inter-dependence. However, i feel that i am still in search of a higher purpose, how can i truly find it? follow my heart? Often, i feel that i am being manipulated by people around. sometimes, i even feel that fasle dreams are given to me so as to temporarily motivate me. I know i control my life, but how do i really live out the best of purpose of my life?
Share your views and please give some real good advises or opinions. thanks!

I have my printed Purpose for Being, which includes My Challenge and My Goal. I have one in front of me at my computer, one on my desk, one in my Bible, one in the kitchen, and several typed as bookmarks in various books. It is constantly before me.
MY PURPOSE:
My purpose for being is to know God personally and intimately;
to be a channel through which He can show the world His loving nature;
to "lift up" the Lord Jesus so that He can draw people to Himself;
to be His instrument in continuing the work of Christ on earth.
MY CHALLENGE:
So live, that when you come to die, you have nothing left to do, but die.
MY GOAL:
My goal is to follow Christ faithfully: whatever, wherever, whenever.

Wow, I am glad that i have a devoted Christian around this discussion board who are willing to share their real purpose and life statement here. I truly admire your truthfulness. Thank you. Seems like i need to be more intermate with the Lord to know my real purpose and life commitment. thanks for being inpirational. ;)

I supposed its from some forum which i have forgotten. No worries, seems like gadituzair wants to give me part of the 25% he earns from me. I have dropped him a message and accepted him as a friend. Not sure what would go on wrong, but i still prefer to be open with things around. ^^
