Free Hugs Campaign

Free Hugs Is an Actual Campaign - The Free Hugs Campaign is an Internet meme that appears to have begun in 2004[1], and was widely publicized in 2006 by a music video. It involves individuals who offer hugs to strangers in public settings. The campaign is an example of a random act of kindness, a selfless act performed by someone for the sole reason of making others feel better. The original organizer has stated in interviews that the purpose is not to get names, phone numbers, or dates.[2]

well, I have heard of the campaign. I don't have anything against hugs, and I think it's great for people who really enjoy hugs, I'm not really a touching type of person, I do not enjoy my personal space to be invaded much, but I have hugged people that I don't know well, but I'm pretty choosy about it. I do liek the idea of making sure to "touch" someone else, not neccesarily a physical touch (although that works to) but to try and help other's that you don't know. Good post!

Well .. I agree..everyone loves their space.. I do too...but you know that there are many lonely people out there in this world of ours..and a smile..a hug.. a gentle tap on the shoulder will show that you love them and care for them.
