will sachin play better than ganguly ?

I do not think that we should compare the both of them. I would say please leave Sachin alone. He has already done a lot for the country and I feel that he would himself retire after this World Cup.

i think ganguly is playing much more seriously thi s time.so he should be retained.

I think we should not compare Sachin with Ganguly, Sachin is far better than Ganguly in all departments,I know he is not making runs to his potentail, every body will go through that phase, even Ganguly did, he havent scored runs for 2 to 3 years thats why he droped from team, but sachin still performing reasonably well

Of course Sachin can and will play better than Ganguly. After he is the best batsman India has ever produced. ganguly is there in the Top 10 but even the second best is nowhere close to THE BEST and thats Sachin Tendulkar, the little master. By the way, the second best has to be Sunil Gavaskar.

I dont think Sachin has to prove anything to anyone.He has let his bat do the talking many times in the past,& is the best ever.The world cup is not the last chance for him,but I hope to see him play like his former self this worldcup.....

I don't think he can play better than Ganguly with his recent form because he has many major injuries and it is very difficult for him to maintain that level of fitness and the swiftness which he used to has when he was in peak form. But recently he is doing well in his bowling and I think he can contribute a lot with that because he is unexperienced player.
