student internship in abroad for indian engineering student

I am an Indian student in the pre-final year of 4 years (8 semesters) Bachelor of Engineering degree course(Metallurgical engineering) in Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, Howrah (formerly B.E. college, Shibpur, Howrah), a reputed institute of India. I will be passing out in 2008, May. I am seeking for a summer internship in engineering suitable with my qualification after the 6th semester examination in May, 2007 in either of Europe, America, Australia or New Zealand. I do have an excellent academic background and I need my internship to be fully funded. Can anyone suggest me where can I apply for this purpose and how?
