I like to read the works of different authors but one which stands out above the rest would be James Herriot. His books are so easy to read, very down to earth and personable, it has humour in it too and very realistic. I've read and reread his books many times and I'm still not tired of it. Pity he is no longer around.

LOL! That's a hard question for me. I have a whole collection of fiction. My top favs are Stephen King, Laurell K. Hamilton, Kelley Armstrong, Anne Rice, and Dean Koontz. I love horror, if you can't tell. Fun discussion! Thanks!

I don't read book much. My favorite story is called Journey to the West. It's about Monkey King. The author is Wu Cheng'en. I love that story. I don't understand most of the writing in that book, 'cause it is written in the 16th century. It's still a great story ever.

My favorite authors are Tom Clancy and Clive Cussler. I've read all of their stuff, and then moved on to authors who wrote reviews in those books. Found a lot of good ones that way.

It has to be Stephen King for me also. Dean Koontz would be a close second.
