I like to reply to discussions as I do not want to bore people with repeated posts. After you post so many discussions, I think I would forget and have to keep looking to see what I have posted. I like answer discussions though because I have see alot of good ones and only a few repeats recently. Is it easier for you to post or reply?

I love to response to discussions more than open a new discussion. I find it more easy for me to share my opinions about things here, instead of thinking on a subject to a discussion. When something is happen in my life, and I want to share it, or I need any advice, then i'm posting a new discussion, and tell about it.

I wouldn't say I prefer one over the other. I tend to reply more because I have a hard time thinking of a topic for discussion.

I mostly respond to peoples discussions. I find it more enjoyable here on mylot. If I have a question or something great to share-- then I will post the discussions.. But mostly I respond- I love to learn about new things and see how others live so I respond. It also allows me to cover more ground here- I can respond to others peoples discussions quicker than I can respond to people who responded to mine.. so that justy means I touch on more subject when I'm the responder. Mylot is great-- You really do learn alot here-- and its pretty enjoyable.

I like to start oddball discussions just to see what people say. But the low maintenance reply to a discussion seems the easy way out. I definitely would rather reply to a discussion until something silly or interesting crosses my mind to start a discussion.

I like to do both , I love to read the answers to my discussions an some are really funny and some really interesting , I also like to add to the discussions I read and especially to the ones my friends have made , I think it really helps you to get to know people too through reading their discussions , good luck xx

I prefer to reply to discussions nowadays. though in the beginning i posted quite a few and got good responses to some. But i dont't want to start discussions just for the heck of it. Though i know it is good way of getting new friends as they get drawn to your discussions. But i have good enough friends. And i can also make friend request if like someones' posts & views. besides i like to post only if i hav soemthing to say that is not being discussed & it feel strongly about it. but i am thinking about posting more often now just to share my views, thoughts with others on mylot. Though ia m enjoying reading others posts & replying to them quite much. frankly i enjoy everything about mylot. Mylot site is simply the best.

I prefer replying to post rather then starting them. There are plenty of good post out there to reply to. I would rather search to see if a topic has been addressed rather then start a new one on the same thing that is already posted. I only start a discussion about once a week or once every two weeks.

I like both of them sometimes, but I do not want to repeat a well known topic. I fear that. When I have a valid discussion or topic to post, I will post as it may be the only one out there.

I do both. If I have something to say or want peoples opinions then I will make a discussion, but I don't do silly ones like what did you have for dinner or ask questions where I could easily look the answer up. I also like replying, but again will only reply if I think I have something of value to say.

I don't know. I think that I like replying to them rather than posting them because I don't know what to post about. I have ideas to post about, but when I do no one ever responds to them. It's quite frustrating, as I have seen so many ridiculous and simple questioned posts from people on here. Wouldn't people rather discuss something that has meaning to them, rather than post something that is quite so meaning?

it's easier to just reply to post than create a new discussion. as you've said, in all likelihood a topic is already existing to the one you'd only be starting..

i too like to reply to discussions, since now i have so many friends it is important to respond to atleast 1-2 posts of theirs, as for the posts it depends, when anything interesting strikes my mind, i post it, however i find more comfort in responding rather than posting.

I would much rather respond to peoples discussions. there are so many different ones out there yes alot of repeats as well. But i find it interesting to read and respond to what others have concerns or questions about. I too dont want to be one of those posters who have the same post as someone else. I also find it easoer to respond rather then post. theres only so much that we can post before everyone has used up all the possibilities. I post when i have a good one, otherwise i would much rather respond... good post!

I feel it would be lot easier to respond to discussion, as the track as already been set by others. When creating a discussion, I found out it should be on a subject where it will attract many readers. And the subject title itself must be attracting, like one reader said, "make it short" and he received more then 100 respond. His title was "S.e.x in the internet". The title itself attracted many reader. If you have a hard subject title, I realsie that not many will like to get involved even if it has many essenses in the topic eg "The Power of the Sub-Conscious Mind" I only had two respond. However, frankly I do not know which offers better rewards. Cheers

I do prefer to respond to a discussion. It's much easier to construct a reply that to create a discussion for me. I have a hard time composing discussion topics because almost all the topics that catch my fancy has already been discussed... and sometimes, i just get dissapointed when i have unresolved discussions, like MY discussions that had no responses ever- so i do prefer to respond than to start a discussion. I'm also trying not to get my topics or discussions deleted so i think carefully of topics that i think hasn't been tackled before here in mylot.. =)
