What kind of attitude should to take to these old buildings? / myLot

Nowadays, there are many old ancient buildings destroyed every year. Instead, people build up some skycrapes on the site of the old buildings. Is it a good thing or bad thing for people to do things like this?

I hate to see it really. I know the cost is quite a bit to refurnish them so they are livable, but I don't think the cost exceeds the amount of building new and bigger. I love the old buildings and architecture that went into them. However spacing is the problem so if you can double the size buy building up, then it would tend to make more sense.

I partly agree with what you said. but, it is hard for me to imagine what a world it would be with old buildings. in my opinion, we should take some measures to protect these old buildings. They are the witnesses of the history, and they are part of traditional cultural heritages.
