It is too late to worry about getting fat. I am a little overweight. My fear is that I will have trouble getting rid of it. It is a lot easier to put weight on than it is to get rid of it.

i am underweight and imnot scared of t infact it can be worse for people who are underweight than being over weight even though they say there are health risks for people over weight there are still a lot of problems that happen to underweight people. This isnt my choice i just cant put weight on i have lots of problems with my health idont think my weight is the main issue but it dosent help things either. im 6ft tall and 10.5stone i should be 12.5 stone not a lot of difference you might think but it is really. lucky i got a nice cuddly partner :)

Getting fat has been a huge fear of mine my entire life. My mother is huge, and I grew up being told it was my fault (I was her last kid and she claimed she never lost the weight) I should fare better than her and hope genetics don't overrule my lifestyle. She grew up with a horrible diet, and never really exercises ever. She eats Mcdonald's at least once a day, and won't eat fruit or vegetables. I've been playing competitive sports since I was 12, and still do - at 32 I play rugby and I do long distance cycling. I have 4 dogs who require a lot of exercise, so they get a long run everyday in the summer, and in the winter, we go cross country skiing. I am very conscious of the food I eat, and try to eat fresh produce every day. Thankfully, I have a health conscious husband, too - he won't let me skip a workout unless I am sick, and he cooks healthy meals. Anyhow, I am trying really hard to fight back against my genetics. According to BMI scales I am right on the boundary between a good weight, and a cautionary weight, so I'm balancing a fine line right now... And I haven't had any kids yet...
