I recently wrote a discussion about nosey neighbors, but after today maybe i should of titled my discussion Sorry Lowlife Neighbors. Here is why today my son discovered that our entire back yard was burnt up. Evidently they had been burning trash or leaves and the fire had spread to our back yard. Now we live a good football field distance from them. It was very windy last night and they should of had enough sense to put the fire out after dark. What makes me so angry is they have not offered to come down here and apologize or give an explanation of any sort. They have drove right through my yard 2 or 3 times already today, which is a usual routine for them that i have let them by with until now. My problem is they are kin folk of mine and i don't really know if i want to call the law or not. But im thinking i will because they are putting the lives of my children at risk and im totally P Oed about it. What do you think? I need advice!

Kin folk or not, if my children lives were in danger I would do something about. I would first try talking to them. If that doesn't work I would call the cops.

You can pick your friends, but you can't pick your relatives. How embarrassing when someone talks of "those" relatives and they tell you how bad they are and ask if you know them. I say, nope, never heard of them. For your problem, I would suggest you warn them to stop their actions first. If the do not heed your warning, call the authorities. Even relatives need a good shaking from time to time.

I hope that you can resolve this issue without the help of the law.

I would go talk to them first and if that didn't resolve things, I would involve the cops. If they are putting your children's lives in danger or harms way, you have to do something.
