Putting a Black Light over a Ring

My engagement ring consists of 3 diamond stones. One time my fiancee put a black light over it and noticed one of the rings was a solid glowing purple color and it was unlike the rest of them. Does anyone know what that means?

I have no idea. Maybe you could take it to a jeweler. Maybe they would know.

I have never heard of that. I hope its nothing too. Have you called a jeweler to find out. Every stone is different, the colors do change with the way the light hits the facets.

I haven't called a jeweler yet because it only occurs under ultraviolet like the previous poster had stated. But for now, it looks sparkly lol...I'll keep it as is. I was just curious as to what it was.
