Here's a one question IQ Test to help you decide how you should spend the rest of your day...... There is a mute who wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing one's teeth, he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done. Now if there is a blind man who wishes to buy a pair of sunglasses, how should he express himself? Think about it first before scrolling down for the answer... He opens his mouth and says. "I would like to buy a pair of sunglasses" If you got this wrong - please turn off your computer and call it a day.

That is good. Of course, a blind man expresses himself with words but many people still thinking about using mime would probably answer that incorrectly. Of course, blind people use sunglasses to hide the imperfections of their eyes.

Nearly got me on this one .... but stopped and had a little think about it. Of course a blind man can talk but he cannot see and he would need a pair of sunglasses to hide his eyes from the world.

Well.... on the other hand ossie, I wonder, why this blind man wants a pair of sunglasses anyway?

Actually sheri many people who are blind do wear dark glasses, mostly sunglasses as they are cheaper than anything else. The reason is because their eyes are usually opaque and unsightly.

Guess I have to turn off my computer and call it a day. Usually I get these things correct. I must be having a "senior moment" right now. Thanks for the laugh.

Of course he will talk to the shopkeeper that he wants to buy a pair of sunglasses cause i think that blind man is not a mute. So he can say of what he wants to express. Well, the mute can't speak that's why he uses action so that he could be understood. ^_^

I have seen other "quizzes" like this and usually do fairly well. Occasionally I will get tripped up early and have to admit my blondness. I love these kind of things though. I was so proud of myself one day when I was reading a quiz like this to my husband and got him tripped up one question before the one i missed so I could say I was smarter. LOL

That was good catching your husband out, and it is a good feeling isn't it? At least it is for me, because it is not often that I can do that and it makes me feel less of a complete dolt. LOL Thanks for your response to this. :)

What is really funny about this, is that my hubby had asked it of me a few days ago...and I responded wrong, without even thinking about it. And I laughed because it is actually quite easy, it is just that sometimes, we have brain freeze, and cannot get past what we just heard. So, this time, I did not get it wrong, I was prepared, so I guess I can keep my computer on for the time being...lol.

Yes if you got it right, then most certainly keep the computer turned on. LOL It is one of those trick questions, where we are looking for the catch so we just overlook the obvious answer. There is no catch at all, but as you say a sort of brain freeze, so thank you for responding. :)

unless he's a mute, he will simply tell the shopkeeper...
