In 2001 I lived in Shenzhen, China which is in the south by Hong Kong. I loved it because it was a huge city with lots of cultural things going on.

There's very little culture in Shenzhen. The city has a history of only about 25 years. It has a bunch of shopping malls and some cheesey amusement parks like Window of the World and Splendid China. It is good if you enjoy nightlife though... tons of bars and clubs.

east rocks, in the east, along the shores of the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea there are extensive and densely populated alluvial plains. On the edges of the Inner Mongolian plateau in the north, grasslands can be seen. Southern China is dominated by hills and low mountain ranges. In the central-east are the deltas of China's two major rivers, the Huang He and Yangtze River (Chang Jiang). Most of China's arable lands lie along these rivers; they were the centers of China's major ancient civilizations. Other major rivers include the Pearl River, Mekong, Brahmaputra and Amur. Yunnan Province is considered a part of the Greater Mekong Subregion, which also includes Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Thailand would have to be my favorite place.

Out of all the places I have been too,I prefer Guilin to others, although I would still like to go to Jiuzaigou to have a feeling of it,I learnt it's the best sight in China now.I would probably be able to compare with Guilin and tell which is better when I get there.
