What type of Hard disk do you prefer? does it fit your needs?

i use sata,it fast ...than IDE.

yes i do agree with you... it's quite faster than Ide interface.

It depends on what your gonna do with the computer. SCSI is the fastest interface out there now for hardware. Actually thats wrong pci express is but that just depends what your going to use it for. For networking i would use scsi for anything else id use regular setup. With a server board and maxed out ram. rawr!

I do agree with you... I'm using scsi drives for video audio and editing. it's very fast and stable. i use it on a 64-bit slot on my asus motherboard and it's really fast...

i prefer serial ata . yes it fit my needs.

compared to the price of scsi drives, then if sata fits your needs i think is the better choice...

i am using SATA,wat is scsi? this is the first time i heard of it, i din find anything i dislike SATA.

SCSI stands for Small Computer System Interface used in hard drive and other computer peripherals like scanners printers etc. Me myself uses SCSI Hard Drives

scsi hdd for the servers.if you have home pc i prefer sata hdd to you

scsi drives can also be used on desktops... you just need a scsi card or controller for your hdd to be attached on the system...

I tried both and i have to say the serial ata is way better! I love those thin cables! However i'm stuck with scsi because of compatibility for now!

I do agree with your observations regarding those types of drives. But i strongly believe that it still depends on the application demmands.
