There has been a case here in Canada where a couple who are Jehovahs witnesses have given birth to sextuplets. 2 of the babies have already died. Three others needed blood transfusions. The government then seized 3 of the 4 babies, and gave them the blood transfusions they needed. They did it before the parents could do anything to stop them. Now was this right? That's a tough one. I believe that the health and welfare of children should supercede any religious beliefs of the parents ... but as the article said, there was supposed to be a hearing. I believe that social services made a choice to move too quickly, knowing there would be legal reprurcussions. That makes me think that those babies really desperately needed the blood - because whoever made the choice did so knowing their career would be on the line.

I have a real problem with this question since I really don´t understand that religion. I have tried to get answers from some witnesses but never recived any (here) My grandfather is a witness and he has totally closed all the connections (more or less) with my family coz we don´t wanna follow him in his belives. He recently have been calling my mom(he is dying) and wants to see us all - I will not go, coz I feel that i don´t even know him. To think that he would rather have my mom dying than giving her a bloodtransfusiomn furiates me and I just can not understand this thinking. I think it is rigt that the state moves in, especially when the kids are so small.
