Winnie the Pooh has many varied characters. Which one do you like the most? Is it because you identify with them or for some other reason? My favorite is Eeyore. I have many Eeyore things including shirts, stuffed animals, pajamas and even a purse. I do identify with him. In my opinion he is such an optimistic pessimist, someone who hopes for the best but expects the worst, which is a lot like me. Watching him I just feel a kinship towards him.

Nor and Tigger - Nor & Tigger
I love Tigger! Watvhing him bounce around on his tail tickles my funny bone. Ive even named my orange striped cat Tigger because he seems to 'bounce' when he runs and has Tigger's face. Look at his pic!

Heheh we have a cat that looks like him but we call him Oliver :) from Oliver and company but Tigger does work especially if he seems to bounce. Tiggers do bounce.

my favorite winnie the pooh character has also always been eeyore. Not so sure why...I guess because he is so sluggish and slow, but everything always seems to work out in the end for him. He just takes things as they come and goes with it...That is how I live my life. When something bad happens, I try to find the silver lining and go forth.

Exactly. He accepts the bad in his life but he still looks for the good that's with it. He doesn't concentrate on the bad. He just goes oh well and moves on with life.

I like Eeyore and Tiger so far. I just have a question for you since you are a fan of Winnie the Pooh , I have seen a discussion here before asking the gender of Winnie, some people say its a female bear and some people say male bear. What is your answer for this? I really believe that Winnie is a male bear right?

I never really thought about it but when you asked my first thought was male. That he was a male bear. It seems to me when they talk about him they called him a "he" and his voice is male in sound so I'm going to stick with that.

I hate to appear to steal the same character, but Eeyore has always been my favorite too! I love his little blue rainy days demeanor! He is so sweet! Always expecting something bad but not being negative about it. I have so much Eeyore stuff. He is even on my favorite night shirt! And I they even have watches with leather straps! For us grownup people. I have had a few myself. hehe

Nice to know he has more then one fan then :) I know I love how he keeps trying to trudge along no matter what happens. No matter how much that litte storm cloud pours down on him he still tries to find the good things in life. I haven't been able to find a nice watch with him around my area. I do have a clock with him which is nice but I'd love a watch.

I love Eeyore and Tigger. When we were kids my mother bought a Winnie the Pooh album narrated by Sebastian Cabott and we listened to it all the time. I in turn got my kids hooked too!

I understand. The good ones like that you have to cling to and make the most of them. Concentrate on those and let the others melt away.

My favourite is Eeyore too and for the exact same reason as you, I identitify with him. I think that what you said about him explains his character very well. I also like Rabbit. He reminds me of myself sometimes, the bad selfish side of myself that many few likes.

I can understand that about Rabbit. I can see myself acting like him now and then, not that I like that but I think we all have a little bit of all the characters in us just some are more like some then others.

Hehe I know how that goes. I've had it where I blank on things as well. I actually forgot that Winnie The Pooh was Canadian. I was thinking English for some reason but I knew he wasn't from the states.

I wish that I could answer this, but I don't relate to any animated characters. I like some fantasy but am much more reality based. (Maybe that has something to do with having 2 babies by the time I was 18 - and they weren't twins?!?) ~Donna

Eeyore sure is a cutey...but such a downer. lol. I think I like the best "Kanga" and yes, because I can relate to her. infact I played her in a community play...and while she could be a bit neurotic she was a very good mother (to everyone) and very compassionate. She had it a lot more "together" than I do. I want to be like Kanga. :)

Yes he can be a downer I agree but he's a lot like I am so he works. Sounds like Kanga does work best for you. I bet that play was a great one to be in and to see.

I would have to say that Tigger is my favorite because he is always so bouncey, friendly, and full of life. Some says he's a little hyper, but I think he's just positive! I think I have loved him since I was a kid because I felt like I could never be like him. I had bi-polar for many years, But I didn't get diagnosed until I was in my 20's so for many years I walked around slowly and felt like Eeyore. I was always inspired by Tigger, but could just never get there as I usually felt crappy about myself and situations I was in.

Believe me I do undertand. I was diagnosed with it in my 20's as well. I think Eeyore kind of really fits for bipolar. Perhaps the author of the stories was originaly inspired by someone who had it as well and created Eeyore based off them.

I know what you mean. I actually have a stuffed Eeyore where the tail is attached with velcro. He's a cutie though and I think he reminds me far too much of myself.

I love your avatar I actually found a bunch of Eeyore things at the dollar store recently. A jump rope, a yo-yo, a night light and small statue. I'm seeing more things with him lately. Seems he's becoming popular.

Eeyore was always my favorite too. Although the Tigger songs were the best! T I double gah er, LOL : ) The wonderful thing about tiggers Is tiggers are wonderful things! Their tops are made out of rubber; Their bottoms are made out of springs! They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is I'm the only one! Oh the wonderful thing about tiggers Is tiggers are wonderful chaps! They're loaded with vim and with vigor; They love to leap in your laps! They're jumpy, bumpy, clumpy, thumpy, Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is I'm the only one! Tiggers are cuddly fellas. Tiggers are awfully sweet. Ev'ryone else is jealous. That's why I repeat and repeat: The wonderful thing about tiggers Is tiggers are wonderful things! Their tops are made out of rubber; Their bottoms are made out of springs! They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is I'm the only one! Here's a quiz to find out which Winnie the Pooh Character you are: http://quiz.myyearbook.com/zenhex/quiz.php?id=96758 Are you Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Owl, Roo, Kanga, Eeyore, Rabbit, or Christopher Robin? Find out which member of the Hundred Acre Wood is most like you! MY RESULTS: Kanga You are Kanga! Just like Kanga, you have a huge heart and a warm kindness that cheers up your friends and family when you walk in the room. You often play the role as a parent figure, especially to those younger than you. Few people are as selfless, loving, and giving as you. You are the kind of person people relate to when they think of warm hugs, hot cocoa, and soft smiles.

I like that test :) I got Eeyore for mine: Eeyore You are Eeyore! You love to sleep and are more or less a loner. Although you try to avoid trouble, it always seems to find you first. Don't lose heart, you have more friends than you think, due to your kind heart and inspiring perseverence through trials. Thanks, that was fun to play.

I am not picky. I like Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. They are all so cute and cuddly. I love my Winnie the Pooh nightgown that I got from the Disney store. I remember a record that I had at my Grandma's house when I was little. It was an adventure story and Roo fell into the river and Eeyore saved him by taking off his tail and having Roo catch hold of it. I think Rabbit helped him put it back on straight. Some days, I am more Tigger when I have way too much energy to sit still.

I am torn between Eeyore and Tigger. Between the two it's hard to choose. Eeyore is so doggedly persistent no matter what he shall prevail. Tigger is so positive, always trying to cheer everyone up. My favorite character probably is Tigger. Always upbeat around friends. Leave the worrying for another day or for Eeyore, he does it well.

That he does :) Tigger is good for that. He makes you forget the worries because of his energy. You can't think of those things when he is around.
