I cannot say I like war, but I was in support of the troops and this country in their decision to go to war following the attack on the U.S. I do think that we may not have accomplished what we set out to do, but we accomplished a whole heck of a lot. We changed the lives of a couple of countries - for the better I hope. I also think that we have been there long enough and that we need to start pulling out. The other countries need to take control and start dealing with their situations internally - we cannot be held accountable to fix it all, and we never be able to in their turbulant countries. We have been there a long time. We stopped hopefully more terrorist attacks on the U.S. and other countries, but enough is enough, and we obviously do not have enough troops to really take care of the situation.

well but iraq had nothing to do with sep 11th.. and there were also never weapons of mass destruction there which we could have easily found out if bush had let us investigate more like he should have..

If Bush had let us investigate? What does that mean? Please explain... I disagree about the WMD's, but I also want to point out that Iraq harbored and trained terrorists. There were Al Queda meetings with Iraq as far back as the early 1990's, and there were terror training camps found in Iraq.

ok as far as the WoMD bush didnt take the time he was advised to take for investigation since the source was not a 'stable' one... if bush would have followed the terms advised to him we would have easily found out that there were never any WoMD instead of rushing into war.. but now as far as the terrorism goes.. i understand that there are terrorists in iraq.. heck im sure they are in ever country imaginable! but this is not a war on terrorism as dear mr bush would like us to think.. why arent we still going after bin laden? why are we not doing anything about other terroristic attacks in the world?

In the govt's mind.... No, to war on Iraq. but yes.... when it comes to economics. Imagine, you now have total control of Iraq and it's resources. Forget about the quote "were liberating Iraq and it's people."
