Fixing A Squeaky Shoe!!??!!

I bought a new pair of hikers and the left one is squeaking badly. I have tried a few tips that I found on websites but does anyone have anything that will really work? Since I've already worn them for a couple of weeks I can't return them so I am faced with listening to the squeak or cranking up the volume on my headphones.

Hi freak369, I know this isn't gonna help but I just thought I would share it with you (it's an old wives tale!) - apparently shoes squeak when they are not paid for! Don't ask me why, when or how! I'm not sure where you are in the world but in UK you get a 30 day returns on everything regardless of whether you have worn them or not!

LOL, my grandlother used to say that. "Ya musn't otta paid for them" (she was OLD SCHOOL Leeds mind you so the accent is what made it so funny). Alas, I'm in the States and they were purchased online and once you wear them, you own them. Thanks for the laugh and reminding me of my grammie.
