People should be very carefull in using these types of forums.. Its a safe place for terrorists and other activities...and they are using this to find more people to join them. In normal case it won't hurt anyone...But if someone who comes in the above said category and if they are using to build their community through these forums it may turn danger. Its a truth that some Police investigations were spread across many people who were in the friends list of such illegal peoples. Its better not to make friendship with people that are unknown to us. Hope you will comment on my view

Why are you scaring people with terrorism, politice investigation etc. This is just a forum site where people present their thoughts and knowledge vice versa. Some people get strange and vague ideas which they want to share with others through mylot.

Hello.. I was not trying to scare anyone. It was a global truth and there was some incidents where some investigations was made into some popular internet forums. I was just telling that there was high chance of these type of activities on such forums. Its true that these forums are monitored carefully and so hope there won't be such issues.. But in any way its better that we just keep in mind these things that we won't get into any trouble.

I think that is a very extreme view. As long as you don't give out personal information, such as, your real name, date of birth, adress, etc then I think these are excellent ways of making new friends. Some people are housebound and this is the only contact they have with the outside world. As long as you keep private stuff private and take heed of the warnings on internet safety then we should all be fine.

I think everyone should take care to be very cautious. It is more than terrorists there are also other people on the internet that prey on young people, stalk people, steal identity, the list can go on forever. Mean people are everywhere. I agree to be careful.
