July 21, 2007. A date filled with both anticipation, and I must admit, a bit of sadness. The story will end here. In a way I wish they would have pushed the date back to later in the fall, since it wouldn't be so close to the release of the Order of the Phoenix film. But hey, it's the new Harry book...so I'm PSYCHED. What about you? July 21 cant come soon enough, or wish they'd wait?

Well I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm psyched - I'm to old for all that - LOL - but I'll definately buy it and read it! Here in the UK, they are planning to queue up all night outside the bookshops to be amongst the first to get it. Perhaps the same where you are? Can't see myself doing that, but I look forward to the end of the story.

I dont really care how close it is to the movie...as they are about different things. But I will be pre-ordering mine as well, there's no way I want to be lining up with all the crazed fans!

I feel the same way about being sad. But I don't wish they'd wait any longer to release it. I'm actually disappointed that it's not coming out on July 7th. I thought that was a great way to end it. Plus it would have given me plenty of time to read it before the following weekend when the movie premiered.

Oh cool :) That is good to know. I can't wait for it to come out but you are right, it will be the last and that is a bit sad. Still I want to find out what happens with everyone. July cannot come too fast now. I just hope it is as good as we are all expecting it to be.

I have been waiting for this book for such a long time. I finished the lat one in a matter of days, and have been waiting for this one ever since. I hope she keeps writing books that take place within this world though.

I am sooooo excited - it definitely can't come soon enough. Though I am sad because it is the end of the series, but more excited than not.
