My husband says women always need to be right. I told him he is wrong!

This one is a bit of a giggle, but my husband really did say this today. He said, "Women always need to be right. Otherwise they aren't happy." I said, "No, You're wrong about that." I immediately realized the humor in that. Of course I don't need to be right all the time. I know someone who thinks she really is right all the time, and she just drives me crazy because sometimes she really is wrong and her husband is right.

I actually know a man who always thinks he's right, my best friend's husband. They will get into fights, because he always says it's her fault, whatever happens, and most of the time he is wrong, but says she is. Me and my hubby never quarrel over who's right or wrong;when i do happen to be wrong, i laugh about it with him.

The sad truth is, most men seem to think they always are. It's better the way you do it, laugh over it rather than argue.

lol, that's funny, he sure got you! Yeah, my husband is always right even when he's not. It gets annoying at times, but I think its just his nature. i wish I would have knew it before we got married. LOL

You really got me laughing when I read your discussion. If my hubby and I had that discussion, I'm not sure which one of us would laugh the hardest. When I know I'm really right, I just say "bet ya a million dollars". That's when he shuts up. Of course, he knows I don't have that much money, but he gets the idea. ;) And I really do hate people who always think they're right (used to have a son-in-law like that.."used to" being the operative words).

My husband was raised by a dominating mother. That's why he thinks this.

You are so right. It is a kindness to try and educate your husband. Surely he understands that he must need help or you would not try to better him. LOL
