I'm 26 years old, and I will always love cartoons. I watch both anime and American cartoons. Some of the modern American cartoons I like best are Fairly Oddparents, Spongebob Squarepants, and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. I also really like rewatching cartoons from when I was a kid. My husband and I have lots of Transformers and Beast wars on DVD, and I love watching cheesy stuff like G.I. Joe or Smurfs.

Cartoons ... well i feel they are the childs imagination suppliments ... brings about the child in you ... theres no age bar as such to watch cartoons ... man are they hilarious and monotonous ... a classical example is as given Tom And Jerry ... but then there is a limit for everything ... hence too much is considered bad ... hence the negative stuff parents talk about watching cartoons ... :((

Yes, I still watch cartoons! As a matter of fact, I prefer cartoons to most shows on TV! My favorites are: "Tom & Jerry", "The Pinky and the Brian" and Bugs!

I think there is absolutely nothing wrong with watching cartoons as an adult. Anyone who is against it just does not have an open mind about much. I enjoy it nearly all day with the kids as I clean up and clean and feed them. Then it's back to some more cartoons until they are put to bed. Then I sneak off and enjoy some adult cartoons. Now I only mean adult by the meaning of adults can understand and comprehend them better. We all have to find something to keep us feel young for always and forever.

I love cartoons too! I think some cartoons are actually made more for adults than kids - or rather kids like them, but at a different level. The Simpsons for example and South Park, Ren and Stimpy. I remember watching Tom and Jerry with my dad when I was little and he would laugh harder that I did.

Cartoons....well my friends know me for it. I am a great fan of Drangon BallZ and Tom n jerry. No matter how old I become but I can't kill the child hidden in me. I simply can't resist from watching the cartoon. Gosh! What will I do when I will have kids. But then also I will continue watching them. They really make my day. And in this busy world one really needs to have something to cool down their nerves. So cartoons are for me.

In our house, we love animation of all kinds... as my kids were growing up, I naturally bought them all the Disney movies, as they came out. We probably have 60+ of those. We always go to see any new animated movie that is released or, at the very least, we rent it when the DVD is available. We also watch The Simpsons, Family Guy (I LOVE Family Guy lol), American Dad, South Park (now and again), all of those shows from time to time. I agree that you're never too old for cartoons! They're just fun -- and I don't know anyone who can't use a little more fun in their life! :)

My husband will sit with our daughter and if she is watching the wiggles or blues clues etc shows like that he will switch the tv to cartoon network he could watch cartoons just as much as he plays his video games if his time shecdule wouold let him.

I am more into Japanese animation than cartoons. They are always better. Being a grownup doesn't mean that you cannot watch these shows anymore. There are even anime shows that are more mature-themed than those shows on mainstream TV. Try watching Elfen Lied and you'll know what I mean. =)

I don't think you're ever too old to watch cartoons. Not only does it show that you are still young at heart and have a sense of humor, but cartoons have come a long way. A lot of cartoons are no longer just made just for children. In Japan they have been making cartoons for adults for years and recently the US has picked up on this popularity with cartoon network's adult swim. Even network tv has animated shows that are for older audiences like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Kind of the Hill. If you ask my opinion, I think you would be missing out on some really great stuff if you didn't watch cartoons.

it doesnt matter what age you are! whats important is that youre young at heart.
