do you find that a certain brand of shampoo is better or are they all the same?

Do you ever notice that your hair is so much nicer after you go to the salon? I thought it was the shampoo they were using, but it was just using a DIFFERENT shampoo than I used.
What would happen is your shampoo leaves a buildup in your hair and when you use something different (they all have different formulas) it will strip what was on there from the prior shampoo, but will start leaving it's own buildup on it. I used to have AT LEAST 2 different shampoos in my shower all the time and I never used the same one 2 days in a row. It really helped, but recently I started using Melalueca shampoo, I'm not switching between anything else and my hair looks and feels GREAT!

that makes alot of sense. I have 2 different shampoos going right now. dove and sunsilk. years ago a coworker I had sold melalueca products and I really liked them. I never tried their shampoo though. but I have tried their makeup. do you sell melalueca products?

I stopped using them because I no longer work or live in the same state where the person was selling them. that was when I lived in Kansas and I now live in New Jersey. I thought maybe you could just buy them from someone without setting up an account to sell them.

I do have a Melaleuca business, but I promote the company, I don't sell the stuff. Melaleuca isn't really deisgned that way. Basically, I set people up so they can buy directly from the manufacturer at wholesale prices. I've replaced all of my household products with Melaleuca, which cost less, work great, and are better for you and the environment. I can tell you how you can set up your own account if you'd like, just let me know. If you've used the products in the past, I'm sure you know how good they are. Why did you stop using them?

I dont have a favorite brand of shampoo. I switch a lot too because some brands makes my scalp itch and flaky. Right now im using Pantene glossy shine. So far, my hair is soft, silky, and dandruff-free. I also use hair spa treatment after shower, so i guess that helps a lot. I used to have frizzy, dry, and brittle hair due to the nature of my job which exposed me in the sun too much.
How about you try baby's shampoo they are gentle and good too. I like Johnson's Baby Shampoo.

My hair spa is an a boone product. It's a cream i apply to my hair after shampooing, leaving it there for some minutes preferably with a head cap on, which i unfortunately don't have, and then after 5 minute i rinse my hair. It has vitamins and other ingredients that restores hair health. It's actually good. I like it. I use it one or twice a week.

Over the years I've tried a few shampoo brands. When I'm broke, I buy VO5 or Suave. They are only OK, they get the job done but I don't think they're the best. When I can afford it, I love getting Pantene... Pantene makes me hair soooooo soft and it leaves it smelling very good. But for the cheap shampoo, it's around a dollar and Pantene is closer to four dollars...needless to say... I don't get to buy it that often.

I tend to switch. Whatever catches my eye in the shop, or anything that is on special offer, I will try. I think your hair can get used to one particular product, and become jaded, so it's good to chop and change. I buy a lt of Body Shop products made from natural ingredients, and not tested on animals.

I like variety. It seems that if I use two bottles in a row of the same shampoo my hair gets dull and lifeless. It is almost as if my hair adjusts to the shampoo or something. I usually try a different brand every time.

For many years I tried many different shampoos and I finally decided that Pantene was what worked best for me and made my hair look and feel healthy. I never used anything else for a long time. Unfortunately we recently fell on hard time financially and I had to switch to a less expensive brand. For me though the Pantene was worht the price I paid. I plan to go back to Pantene once we get back on our feet financially.
