my dog (pomorian) died 3 years ago. i was like his parent. i saw him when he was just 3 months. when i heard that he is going to die . my heart broke out. i could not resist crying.but my friends started laughing that i was crying for the death of my dog.how can they people know about my affection

I miss each and every one of my pets I have lost. They really become a member of the family. I hope you have a new dog now to share your love with. If not, why not try a rescue society and help a dog who really needs a home and the love you can provide? People who don't get it probably never had a pet that they loved.

Shame on your friend. It was not right of them to set aside your feelings of loss. Your dog meant a lot to you and of course you should grieve that loss.
