I also had an habbit of reading lots of books before as it was my favourite pass time and now after being introduced to 9nternet, my reading habits are gone and even though i still feel like reading sometimes, i don't get much time as most of time goes in internet and i also think many of us here have also lost interest in reading books after internet introduction isn't it?

Yes, you are also right to some extent and reading in internet is quite different from reading books isn't it? reading books is funa s you can carry that book anywhere buit not the internet andyou don't have to on the computer to read something as you can just take out that book and read and more over greater exposure to computer screens will effect your eyes also..isn't it? Anyway's, thanks for responding

I agree, I still do some reading but not nearly as much because I love to spend a lot of time on the internet. I really have started liking e-books though because they are not as expensive as hard copy, I also love fanfiction, so I guess I still keep up with my reading, it's just in another form now.

Good that you still have that urge to read books isn't it? and also you don't seem to be spending so much like before reading books after getting into internet...am i right? this is the common case among most of the peopel now as more and more people are getting addicted to internet and also one can find any information they want in internet and this internet just acts like a library...isn't it?

I agree with my sister. me myself dont like reading. And internet can not make me read a long paragraph. Its better for me to read in book than read at PC (For long article) when I do research for my final script, I print it first before I read it ^^

I Agree with your statement, many people can lost their readng hobby when they was connected with internet but we must know to manage it and divied the time for both activities.Reading and intenet is the usefull knowledge we can get it if we know how to do it.

not really, i love the internet because it made my book hunting easier, i can always know what to buy and where to buy, search for good authors, classics, trivia, series, best sellers and suggestions from other readers but internet only increases my reading enthusiasm, i made a longer list because of surfing =)

You are right that we can also read through internet, but it definitely won't be like reading books as you can take your books anywhere you like at any time you prefer and ofcourse you will have a hard copy of that and you can read it anytime isn't it? Anyway's, thanks for responding

When you are on the internet you have to read. So, the reading habit is not lost - you just have less time for actual books. I read alot on the internet and search for information instead of going to the library. But, sometimes I fell that I need to read a book about it instead, so I do that. I think the internet is great because it forces people to read and type more than they would have otherwise.

Maybe you are right to some extent as i maynot have put it properly here. What i meant was, reading hard copies and not reading online material on what you get in internet.Internet is also a sort of library and you can find anything on internet and i used to read a lot of books before...but now, after getting into internet, i don't refer books much simply because i don't get much time here. Anyway's, thanks for responding
