Yes, because you can add to the search capacity to find your discussions, and sometimes you can add messages to your friends, if the topic doesn’t have enough tags, like "so-and so rides again".

Yep. One of my friends, stevew, posts really good discussions, and I got the idea to try adding to his tags... I used to be such a nice guy...

If you tag your posts with as many words, it is easier to be noticed by others. I mean when they do a search using certain words, and that word is one of your tags, then your posts will surface. Do continue to tag your posts. They will eventually help you earn higher ratings and earnings.

I use them as it makes your topics and posts easier to find and easier for others to respond to, and I use them every time I post a new discussion, or a comment to one!

I don't use tags but after reading what everone is saying I understand more now what they are used for and I will start tagging. Thanks.
