If you are really interested in learning Taekwondo, I suggest that you check out Monsour Del Rosario's website. www.monsourdelrosario.com

Taekwondo is one of the best martial arts in my opinion, reagrdless of ITF or WTF affiliation, or like my association which is middle of the road between the two.

for a start, you should enroll in a taekwondo class to learn the basics. then from there, you could train on your own to develop your own style. basics is very important

First you must realise that Taekwondo is not a game... Well, do some research and find some good schools near you. alot of schools let you try a class, so go when theyre having one, try several of them, then decide which one you want to go with =) youll be glad TaeKwon-Do is AWESOME!

as a martial artist: i studied 1.taekwondo 2.karate 3.judo 4.kali 5.dumog 6.jiujitsu 7.boxing 8.muay thai 9.savate 10.wushu but i can't even say taekwondo is the best martial arts because i believe there is no great martial art but only great martial artists. one of the great martial artist i knew when i was a kid was "Master Steve Grandeza" still now i see him as the best in taekwondo, "Kuya Hamir Achacoso" my master in practical jiu jitsu, "Sir nols Del Rosario" my teacher in dumog, savate&kali who also studied aikido, hapkido, capoeira&other martial arts and my masters and friends ni kickboxing and amateur boxing.
