Impeach President Bush.

How come nobody is calling for President Bush to be impeached? -He has lied to the people of America. -Responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans. -Responsible for the death of Iraqi civilians. -He passes laws that are unconstitutional. I think it's time for him to go. He is causing way more harm in this world than good. I guess if we impeached him though we would be left with the other evil guy (Cheney). What do you guys think about impeaching Bush?

WEll, he didn't lie, he was either misinformed by the entire WEstern world intelligence (since everyone then thougth Saddam had WMDs), or simply hasn't been proven correct. Regardless of whether there were nuclear weapons in Iraq or not, they had weapons they weren't supposed to have, including stockpiles of chemical weapons that have been found and stockpiles that Iraq has not produced proof of destruction and has not given up. And he didn't pass any UNconstitutional laws...

What about holding people without officially charging them. What about unlawful monitoring? So are you saying Bush has no responsibility in the mess that we are in right now? Even if he was misinformed he still has to take the blame and fix the situation, not continue to feed us BS

What "monitoring"? The survellience of terrorist phone calls isnt against the constitution. What does that violate, the right to privacy? There's no such thing. As long as no other rights are being taken away because of it, it isn't violating rights. Those being detained aren't, for the most part, American citizens, so techinically they don't have our rights. Not to mention they are wanted for connections to terrorism, which congress deemed important enough to hold people.
